HAWK SYSTEM

complete counter-drone system

The technology development, widespread availability and ease of use of unmanned aerial vehicles, commonly called drones, have made them a real threat. Drones are lethal weapons used also more and more often by criminals, terrorists and saboteurs. They can easily carry bombs, conduct espionage work, deliver drugs to prisons, disrupt daily operations of airports and seaports, power plants and oil refineries. Today's drones threaten critical infrastructure and civil security. Hence a huge security gap has emerged, which could not be covered by the security systems used so far. Therefore, institutions responsible for public safety and industrial security are seeking effective solutions that will effectively defend them against UAV attacks.

The HAWK SYSTEM is a complete, adaptable and scalable solution that responds to modern needs and neutralizes threats from drones. The aim of the HAWK system is to detect a drone before it enters the protected area and to neutralize it effectively. A multisensor system based on radar technologies, RF scanners, acoustic sensors, cameras, neutralizers and the drone takeover module ensure 100% protection of the protected area.

MAIN FEATURES

DATA FUSION

Data processing algorithms permit the classification and continuous tracking of detected drones. Thanks to synchronisation of information from different sources, it is possible to precisely determine the position of a single drone or multiple drones, its detection, tracking and neutralization.

MULTISENSORY

The system integrates various detection technologies: rotary radars, sector radars, RF scanners, acoustic sensors and cameras.

HACKING SYSTEM

It is an advanced system that automatically and passively detects, locates and identifies "foe" drones. Thanks to an effective hacking system, it takes control over „foe” drones and enables them to land safely at a predefined safe zone.

OPEN ARCHITECTURE

The system is fully scalable to the needs and capabilities of each object. Easy integration with already existing security systems allows to use their full potential. The system provides a high level of security against hacking or external interference.

DIFFERENTIATED
NEUTRALIZATION METHODS

Depending on the threat, the system automatically selects an appropriate method of neutralization, while at the same time it is not disturbing other drones and communication signals operating for the protected area.

HAWK SYSTEM COMPONENTS

HAWK SYSTEM MASTER CONTROL CENTER

The basic element of the HAWK system is the monitoring center with dedicated software, which is responsible for analyzing and visualizing data collected by all system elements installed in the protected area. This is where data from radars, cameras and other sensors are processed and visualised. The monitoring center is available in a stationary or mobile version.

Key HAWK systems features:

  • early UAV detection, even before take-off
  • automatic classification of a UAV type and "Friend or Foe" Identification (IFF)
  • distinguishing UAV from other flying objects
  • real-time UAV flight tracking on the map
  • location of the UAV operator
  • ability of taking control over a drone
  • automatic/manual neutralization of UAVs
  • neutralization of commercial drones by a method that does not interfere with other drones and communication signals
  • system integrated with the camera tracking the detected object
  • tactical situation visualisation tailored to user needs on online or offline maps
  • edition of maps and tactical tasks: designation of protected zones, inclusion of individual surveillance zones
  • viewing camera image at the Control Station
  • management of all system elements from the Control Station level and management of the whole system
  • acoustic signalling of intruder detection
  • data archiving
  • automatic sensor calibration
