HAWK C-UAS / Counter-drone system

Advantage measured
in response time.

HAWK C-UAS is an integrated, multi-sensor system for protection against unmanned aircraft. HAWK C2 is an advanced command and control system that combines data, supports threat assessment and coordinates the response under operator control.

How HAWK works
An operator using the HAWK C2 command and control system
HAWK C2 / Command and control

01 / System architecture

Sensors. HAWK C2. Effectors.

A common operational framework connects interchangeable sensors and mitigation assets. From the first observation to assessment of the outcome, the operator works within a single environment.

01 / Surveillance

Sensors

3D/4D radars, radio direction finders, Remote ID decoders, EO/IR tracking heads, and optical and acoustic detectors provide complementary information.

02 / Command and control

HAWK C2

Combines observations into a common operational picture, assesses threats and supports decisions. The operator reviews recommendations and authorises action.

03 / Response

Effectors

The selection of mitigation assets depends on the mission and system configuration. The open architecture allows assets to be replaced and the system to be expanded.

Kinetic

Integration of physical interception and neutralisation assets, including interceptor drones and weapon systems.

Non-kinetic

Electronic warfare assets, including RF neutralisers, that counter unmanned aircraft radio links.

02 / HAWK C2

A common operational picture.
Decision support.

Detection alone is not enough. HAWK C2 organises information from multiple sources, identifies threats and helps the operator make decisions.

01

Multi-sensor data fusion

Radar, radio, optical and acoustic observations are correlated into a single, continuously updated track. The system assesses data consistency and identification confidence, reducing duplicate alarms.

02

Dynamic threat assessment

The assessment considers the object's identity, movement and behaviour, as well as protected zones. Time to Impact (TTI) estimates the time remaining before the object reaches the protected area and is updated as the situation changes.

03

Operator decision support

HAWK C2 prioritises threats and recommends available response assets, including when multiple threats occur simultaneously. The decision to act remains under operator control.

04

Local processing

Data is processed locally. Each node retains its operational capability when connectivity to the rest of the system is limited or lost.

Shared awareness. Local autonomy.

From a single station
to a distributed system.

The federated architecture connects fixed, deployable and mobile stations. Nodes exchange tracks, alarms and information on sensor and effector availability while retaining local autonomy and continuous surveillance.

The MOSA modular architecture and integration layer support SAPIENT, ASTERIX, JREAP-C, APIs and adapters. They enable integration with external systems and expansion of the configuration.

03 / Variants

One command and control system.
Four protection variants.

The deployment approach is tailored to the mission. HAWK C2 remains the common element.

HAWK Sentinel

Fixed protection / 24/7/365

Sentinel

Fixed protection for critical infrastructure, airports, ports, industrial facilities and military sites. Equipment placement is tailored to the protected zones, terrain and local threat profile.

Continuous surveillance, integration with existing security infrastructure and modular expansion. Standalone or federated operation.

HAWK Expedition

Deployable field station

Expedition

A modular system for temporary protection of designated areas without permanent infrastructure. The MPZ module provides power and device communications linked to the HAWK C2 operator station.

Full operational readiness within 30 minutes. Configurable with up to four sensors and two effectors; transported in dedicated cases.

HAWK Portable

Portable and wearable / Ready to use

Portable

Compact and wearable RF sensors, simplified operator interfaces and handheld mitigation devices. The configuration is tailored to the mission and may include detection, warning or countermeasures.

Rapid operation without a fixed installation. Solutions for patrols, temporary protection and teams with limited transport capacity.

HAWK NOMAD

Mobile platform / On the move and at a halt

NOMAD

Sensors, a local HAWK C2 node and mitigation assets integrated on a mobile platform. The system maintains situational awareness on the move and can operate as a protection station when stationary.

Local processing and autonomy if communications are lost. Integration with suitably prepared wheeled or tracked platforms.

04 / Products

The HAWK family of solutions.

The EXPEDITION station and equipment for electronic surveillance and countermeasures. Detailed information is available in the product data sheets.

HAWK EXPEDITION

Deployable HAWK C-UAS station

EXPEDITION

The MPZ module provides power, communications and device integration. The station operates independently or as a federated node. HAWK C2 does not require a cloud connection or an external network.
