GPS Hertz Protector
GPS Hertz Protector is a protective support system dedicated to cars, delivery vehicles and trucks, as well as other valuable vehicles such as heavy construction equipment.
GPS Hertz Fleet provides effective protection against car theft as well as anti-assault protection for vehicles’ users. Capable of providing information on such incidents as:
• ignition on/off,
• door opening,
• boot opening,
• bonnet lifting.
GPS Hertz Protector is fully integrated with car alarm system, immobilizer and anti-assault button and automatically transfers information on the incident to a previously defined operator (e.g. police station).
Its “umbrella mode" informs the user of unauthorized movement of vehicle from the place it was previously parked (controlled car theft). Also, equipped with a functionality allowing for access authorization, enables identification of access to a vehicle of certain groups of its users.
Finally, in case of unauthorized movement of the vehicle, the incident is instantly reported by Monitoring Centre, which informs the owner of the effort and undertakes measures to prevent further movement of the car – police call.
Its unique features enable to:
- permanently monitor and track the location of vehicle,
- detect unauthorized movement of vehicle,
- send alarm to Monitoring Centre to undertake proper actions.
Our offer within GPS monitoring systems covers:
- equipping the vehicles with GPS Hertz drivers,
- delivery of protective and logistics software (installation and integration),
- training.
GPS systems delivered by Hertz Systems comprise of the following:
1. GPS HERTZ 200 Driver - our own product, designed and manufactured by Hertz. It is an element of satellite-based system intended to track and monitor vehicles. It comprises of a system of GSM/GPRS industrial telephone, GPS receiver module, as well as microprocessor system providing data measurement, data registration and interface communication with other elements of the vehicle monitoring system.

Driver interoperability with external devices:
- DALLAS-PAS – have unique digital code in their structure, on the basis of which it is possible to assign a user to a given vehicle.
- Proximity cards – have unique digital code used for authenticating a vehicle user,
- Fuel meter probe – very accurate and makes it possible to analyze fuel consumption, refueling, decrease of fuel in trucks and construction machines,
- Converter for fuel buoy system – allows analysis of fuel consumption in delivery vehicles and cars,
- Flowmeter - allows analysis of use, by comparing the amount of actually used fuel with purchase documentations for a given vehicle. Used in trucks, automotives, stationary machines equipped with internal combustion engines,
- Temperature sensors – allow measurement of temperature inside vehicles, meant for transport of food and livestock,
- Text communicators – provide sending information between vehicle operators and transport manager,
- Reed relays, sensors, signalizing elements – used for ongoing analysis of vehicle equipment and status.
2. Interoperable and integrated package of FLEET ON-LINE software application allows the user to track and manage vehicle operations.
3. Sensors - their role is to register selected working parameters of the vehicle and further transmit incident reports to GPS HERTZ 200 Driver.
4. Data server - storage and processing of data transmitted by GPS Drivers.
5. 24/7 Monitoring Centre - operator previews all alarm incidents in the vehicle and undertakes proper actions (police call, owner notification).
